The base of this table lamp consists of a ball of coiled rope on a foundation of black-coated mango wood. Details, such as the ribbed structure of the ropes and the layers of coiled rope, are reflected in the aluminium of the base. Use the ball joint to pivot the lamp and determine the direction of the light.
